Casper was built from the ground up to allow native upgrades without network halts or maintenance.
Among many features, the latest upgrade allows developers to debug smart contracts in production.
The 1.5 upgrade has introduced the Speculative Execution Endpoint, a new Casper-exclusive feature tailored specifically to the needs of enterprises.
It allows developers to "test against production" before actual deployment, and calculate an estimate of the amount of gas a transaction will cost.
